A report by Giuseppe Ghezzi (1634-1721), secretary of the Accademia del Disegno. The book is dedicated to pope Clement XI, the patron of the Accademia and the subject of the engraved frontispiece, drawn by Ghezzi himself and executed by Giovanni Girolamo Frezza. The report is followed by a speech delivered by Monsignor Filippo Monti at the Accademia, a series of poems and a list of the award-winning academic artists.
