A rare first edition of sermons on the Lenten Gospels by Albert of Padua (ca. 1269 - 1323 or 1328), preacher and theologian of the order of the hermits of Saint Augustine active in Padua, Paris and Bologna. Various editions of his sermons that were printed until the end of the XVI century attest his fame as a preacher.
